PREC is taking initiative for Students, Academician and Researchers by organizing seminars, focused short-term training programs and conferences every year. PREC organizes the conference to collaborate with researchers and to provide the opportunity to present their valuable work. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of engineering and technology.

Selected papers will be published in conference proceedings with ISSN and ISBN number and extended paper will be submitted to UGC care journals. Dependent on the area of paper and content, experts will recommend suitable journals for publication.

Pravara Rural Education Society was established in 1964 by Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, who is the founder father of the Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. Computer Engineering Department established in 1985 with the vision to produce world class quality computer engineers. PG in Computer Engineering started in 2014 And Data Science in 2021. Since its inception the Department has gained reputation in the SPPU, Pune as a renowned department for its quality in academics and treating students and alumni as Ambassadors of institute. More than 2000 alumni are working in India and abroad in leading multinational companies, government and various research organizations such as TIAA, IBM, CAPGEMINI, SYNTEL, TCS and renowned top industries.
